We did it! After a year of searching, we found a perfect Bambi. It's a 2007 International Bambi 16' Ocean Breeze. We think it looks a bit like R2D2 from Star Wars, almost as if poor R2 was recycled into our trailer! So we named it R2DTUBE. Okay, I'll leave the comedy to professionals... Anyway, we finally got R2 out on the road. We decided to head up to Buckhorn Campground in the Angeles National Forest. What a treat! The place was practically empty, so we had our pick of the best sites. We chose #21, at the end of an empty loop, next to the stream. There's a small waterfall right at the site, so we had a nice background sound of water. Even though the campground was just about empty, we had plenty of people driving by to take a look. Terry was right! Everyone wants to see and comment about how cool the trailer is. How fun. We stayed 2 nights which was just enough to make us anxious to get out on the road again soon!
